Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026. Ounceling is made by Montgomery Appworks LLC ("we", "us").
The short version
- Ounceling has no accounts. You don't give us your name, email or phone to use it.
- Everything you enter (daily choices, checkup dates, "problems avoided" notes, settings) is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage.
- We do not collect, receive, sell or share that information. We can't see it.
- The app has no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking code.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your choices, check-offs, checkup dates and intervals, notes you type in "Problems avoided", and your settings. This stays on your device until you delete it. Some of it may relate to your health (for example, the date of your last dental cleaning). It is never sent to us.
You control it: Settings → Export backup saves a copy as a file you keep. Settings → Delete all data erases it from the device. Uninstalling the Android app or clearing your browser's site data also erases it. If you export a backup, keep the file somewhere safe; it is not encrypted.
Website hosting
The web version is served by Cloudflare Pages at https://ounceling.pages.dev. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We don't add cookies or tracking, and we don't use this data to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Android app
On Android, Ounceling can show reminder notifications. These are scheduled on your phone by the app itself; no server is involved. You can turn notifications off in Android settings at any time. Links in guides open public websites (such as CDC or CFPB) in your browser; those sites have their own privacy policies.
Consumer health data
We do not collect, process, share or sell consumer health data. Any health-related details you enter stay on your device. If you have questions under the Washington My Health My Data Act or a similar state law, contact us below.
Children
Ounceling is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and post the new version here. If we ever add a feature that sends data off your device, we'll describe it here and ask before turning it on.
